In Russia it takes a long time to put new cars into production. Usually new concepts show up on car shows for years before they ever reach mass production. Unfortunatelly because of that sometimes really good concepts never get a green light, like in the case of this GAZ-3106 that also never made it past a concept stage (lets hope that Lada Project C concept will escape same fate)…

GAZ-3105 is a Volga that unfortunately never reached mass production. They began building first prototypes in 1987 and in 1992 GAZ even displayed this car on the international car show in Leipzig, Germany. Interestingly enough this car had all wheel drive, and was powered by the 170hp engine.
