Back in the USSR days, the Soviet car racing was pretty competitive on the world stage, especially when it came to rallying and circuit racing, here are the cars that made it possible…

Here is an “exclusive” video from inside one of the cars that participated in a Russian rally competition. The co-driver reads the corners, then while the driver is going 140km/h in fourth gear, he informs him that the left corner which can only be done in 2nd or 3rd gear is coming up, the driver acted but it was too late…
We’ve recently showed you an open air rock concert that got spoiled by huge amounts of mud. Well, here are pictures from an open air car show in Russia, where mud also seems to have played its part…
Breaking the rules of this site once again, we are posting a video from Ukraine. A driver in the video was stopped by police because he was going 85mp/h. Perhaps police were ready to receive a big bribe, instead they got cursed out by a general who simply refused to show them his driver’s license, and drove off…
A lot of interesting events take place in Moscow lately, this time it was a fun car spectacle held on Red Square, which got even more exciting since few Formula 1 cars had showed up…

We’ve already showed you one extreme tune up of the good old VAZ-2108, here is another one. It’s not quite clear what inspired the driver to go for this somewhat radical design, perhaps SR-71 Blackbird???

Well as you have already seen here, Russian drivers do crazy things when money is no objects, here is just another example…

Russia is a Tractor Nation, and since you’ve already seen Tractor Racing in Russia, here are some more tractor videos for you. If you don’t understand what’s happening in the first video, then wonder no longer - the tractor is out of fuel so the driver is using “alternative energy sources” to move it…
Real “tough guys” usually are the ones buying huge expensive SUVs thinking that when the magic moment comes and they actually drive their gas guzzler off the road (usually once a year or so), & that there will be absolutely nothing that could stop them. Unfortunately this is usually never the case, since even the slightest bit of mud gets them so stuck that they have to rely on old beaten up tractors to get themselves out, but perhaps this is what the off road experience is actually all about…

Maybe it’s the decades of communism, maybe it’s the turbulent 90s, or perhaps it’s simply a sign of oppressed childhood, that could rationally explain the thought processes behind these pictures…
We’ve already showed you a bad Mitsubishi test drive, here is another one. It’s not exactly clear what the potential customers were trying to test in these test drives, but if these were the emergency break tests then the ones on Mitsubishi seem a bit weak, while the BMW’s are perhaps too good…

You probably know already that we are very biased towards Russian Cops on this site, mainly because most of them have no honor and take bribes constantly, nevertheless we are probably even more biased towards the insanely expensive cars some of them get to drive. Here is a gallery that shows you what they used to drive back in USSR days, make sure to click on the link down in the gallery to see what some of them drive these days…

They say beauty is in the art of the beholder, this is one of those cases…

We already had shown you Bugatti Veyron in Moscow, (part 2). Recently one had been spotted in Minsk, the capital of Belarus. When the car costs 1.2 million euros, and simple things such as gear knob costs $8.500, it’s nice to see that someone can afford one…
