We had recently shown you a Tornado in Kazan, and here is the flooding that the city had few days ago…
The Battle of Stalingrad was a battle between Germany and its allies (Italy, Romania, Hungary) and the Soviet Union for the Soviet city of Stalingrad (today known as Volgograd). The battle took place between July 17, 1942 and February 2, 1943 as part of World War II. It is often considered the turning point of World War II in the European Theater and was arguably the bloodiest battle in human history, with combined casualties estimated above 1.5 million. The battle was marked by brutality and disregard for military and civilian casualties on both sides. The battle is taken to include the German siege of Stalingrad, the battle inside the city, and the Soviet counter-offensive which eventually trapped and destroyed the German Sixth Army and other Axis forces around the city.
It has been the 65th anniversary since the battle took place three days ago, here is the gallery dedicated to all of those who participated and in many cases gave up their lives defending and fighting for Stalingrad building by building, this is as real as it gets… (I didn’t include pictures of hundreds of fallen soldiers on the streets of Stalingrad on purpose, i hope you understand why)

With no psychology background whatsoever we’ve been able to “correctly” determine that kids who play on Russian playgrounds usually end up doing this. Now take a look at more of these horrible creations, which will definitely create childhood memories, but you can guess for yourself what those memories will be…

Summer doesn’t just bring lots of sunshine, it also brings lots of rain, here are few pictures of a flooding that happened in Rostov on Don...

As the news come from Russia today, that a high ranking regional police boss went on trial for selling a police station building to some businessmen (!!!) and then spent the money on himself, we have this story. If the pictures you are about to see, were to come from Europe or America, the cop seen on them would definitely lose his job, and most likely end up in jail for accepting a bribe. Well, unfortunately these pictures come from Russia, where cops take bribes everywhere, all the time, this is just another example (remember this one???)…
On May 17, 1984 a spark from a cigarette had led to an explosion on a naval base in Severomorsk. In a very short time, half of the fleet’s storage of strategic rockets, torpedoes and mines had been destroyed. Reportedly there were two injuries, as well as the huge panic on the streets of the city, that was caused by this fiery inferno…

Pictures from the private archive of the pilot of the Su-25 which he flew in the Afghanistan during its war with Russia…

For the third year in a row the mayor of Moscow doesn’t grant a permit to the Russian gay/lesbian community to have a lawful parade. While the President of Russia states that Russia is open to, and does not oppose sexual minorities, he sees that making the decisions about whether or not to allow the gay parade in the capital of Russia - is a “local matter that should not be up to him to decide”. Anyway this year was a third consecutive attempt to stage an unauthorized gay parade, this time though there were a lot more press, and representatives of Russian Orthodox Church, than the actual gays and lesbians…

We have already told you about a famous chess player, and the leader of Russian opposition, Garry Kasparov. When making one of his speeches, in front of the media someone not very smart decided to make fun of the whole thing and fly a vibrator across the room. This link is available via Youtube, and probably will not be shown on the government controlled Russian TV stations, since the government sees Kasparov’s views and opinions as a big taboo, which after years of bias could destroy a “fragile & pro-government” minds of the Russian public. Ironically Kasparov had gotten the last laugh saying that “This is the face of the current Russian government”…
To get the idea of who Garry Kasparov is, you can take a look at one of his TV appearances before the 2008 Russian “Election”…
Today the new Russian president Dmitriy Medvedev was inaugurated. That concludes the two terms that Russia had been under the rule of Vladimir Putin. Even though Putin will be serving as Russia’s prime minister under Medvedev, many in Russia and outside world believe that Putin is really the one who’ll be calling the shots. Here is a documentary about Putin and what he did with Russia…
Few friends in Russia decided to drive to one’s vocation house to have some barbecue. When they began making it, dry grass had caught fire, and so did the man’s brand new Audi A4 2.0 with DTM package…

Yes it’s another priceless video of the Russian “politician” Vladimir Girinovsky. Yes, you’ve already seen him in his public rants, you’ve seen what he did in the presidential debates. Recently we shown you the only video known to date where he actually got a taste of his own medicine, and was made to look like complete ass. Now here is another video from Girinovsky’s private archive. In this video he travels on a train in Russia, and shoots at crows from the moving train! If you thought this was bad, by the end of the video he passes by people’s gardens and shoots at their chickens, and dogs. If this was American or European politician, similar behavior would be on the news for days, before the politician would submit his resignation.
In Russia they do things different, since Russian media is now busy questioning whether the man you can see on the video was indeed Vladmir Girinovsky…
St. Petersburg officials want foreign tourists to visit their museums, but there are few things that those city officials would rather hide from the foreign tourists. We’ve already shown you the surprisingly horrible beaches of St. Petersburg. Now here is a picture that shows you how those “bad beaches” are formed. You’d have to be pretty crazy and brave to swim in St. Petersburg waters especially after seeing how much glass will end up there this summer…

When people have an IQ of a potato they drive cars around on top of each other without doing anything to secure them in place, here is a moron from Russia who had done that.
