Russian car factory AZLK, abbreviation literally meaning “Lenin Communist Youth League Automobile Factory” was the maker of the Moskvich brand. The factory which was founded in 1930, stayed around for decades until it filed for bankruptcy in 2002 and shut down all of its production. Today the factory remains idle and abandoned. Here are pictures of the factory by the abandoned property expert Alexander Klochkov, as well as the picture of the factory in its better days…
It’s been a while since Russian Army’s uniforms were updated, well they finally did it. They showed new uniforms to the president yesterday and interestingly enough the guy in charge was a famous Russian designer Valentin Udashkin. New uniforms definitely look better, and the fact that they hired models to display them, also helps…

Svetlana Khorkina (left) is a very popular Russian gymnast who also happens to be a seven time Olympic medalist. She is rated as the most successful female gymnast of all time. On the right is Alina Kabaeva, she is Russia’s most successful rhythmic gymnast to date, and is also one of the most decorated gymnasts in the history of rhythmic gymnastics. Now both of them could be found working in Russian parlament (Duma). I’ve already made a gallery on “tough” challenges of their work (here), and now i present you with yet another proof of just how hard it is to be a politician in Russia…
