Extremely Dangerous IL-76 Take Off…

by Rfun No Comments »

We had recently posted a story about the IL-76’s bigger brother, IL-86 and it’s sometimes shockingly long take off rolls. As we had said then, the late take offs are often a direct outcome of short runaways, high temperatures, high humidity, and heavy cargo loads. Here is a video from Australia, which as you can see was another extremely close call for the Russian airplane and it’s crew…

Russian Pushback…

by Rfun 1 Comment »

This video had surfaced online, of six men pushing the huge AN-124 airplane which weights well over 150 tons. Many people in the online community had assumed that Russians are so strong that they don’t even need powerful tugs to pushback their airplanes. Well, watch the video carefully and maybe you’ll see who’s really pushing the plane…

Illiterate Russian News Anchor…

by Rfun 2 Comments »

We already showed you a funny clip of a Russian news anchor mess up live. Now here is a new one, this one is so much more worse than the previous though, since in the previous clip the news anchor simply misread the word. This clip on the other hand, shows a news anchor not being able to pronounce a word “Undisciplined”, she tries once, she tries twice,  then she simply ignores the word and moves on…

Dr. Putin…

by Rfun No Comments »

As you may have already heard, there is a bit of buzz about a Russian steel company “Mechel”.  Vladimir Putin who is currently a Russia’s prime minister had spoken at a meeting of Russia’s steel producers and had voiced his concern that “Mechel” kept selling steel to European customers for prices that were twice as cheap as the ones that it was using to sell steel to its customers within Russia (as a result the company got away from paying taxes to the government). In the video Putin was very displeased with the fact that the company’s CEO said he was sick and therefore didn’t show up to the meeting. As a result Putin had said in a very serious tone that the company’s CEO better get well soon, or “we will have to send a doctor to him, to take care of this problem”. He had also said that the Federal anti-monopoly department should look at Mechel shady deals. As a result of this company’s stock went down 30% on New York Stock market…

Dopey Russian Cops…

by Rfun No Comments »

Thanks to Russian police, it seems like we’ll never have a shortage of funny material about them. Taking a bribe in a public here, breaking laws in a public place there, simply scratching themselves, or just being themselves. Well, here are two more videos of dopey cops, and while you need to know Russian to understand the first one, the 2nd video is self explanatory…

Got to listen to your Co-driver…

by Rfun No Comments »

Here is an “exclusive” video from inside one of the cars that participated in a Russian rally competition. The co-driver reads the corners, then while the driver is going 140km/h in fourth gear, he informs him that the left corner which can only be done in 2nd or 3rd gear is coming up, the driver acted but it was too late…

Cops vs. General

by Rfun 1 Comment »

Breaking the rules of this site once again, we are posting a video from Ukraine. A driver in the video was stopped by police because he was going 85mp/h. Perhaps police were ready to receive a big bribe, instead they got cursed out by a general who simply refused to show them his driver’s license, and drove off…

That Hurts…

One guy had reluctantly let his friend ride on his motorcycle, promising to hurt him if he goes above 15mph. As you can see form the outcome of this video, both the owner and a guy who rode his motorcycle seems to have gotten hurt anyway…

Real Tough Guys…

by Rfun 2 Comments »

Real “tough guys” usually are the ones buying huge expensive SUVs thinking that when the magic moment comes and they actually drive their gas guzzler off the road (usually once a year or so), & that there will be absolutely nothing that could stop them. Unfortunately this is usually never the case, since even the slightest bit of mud gets them so stuck that they have to rely on old beaten up tractors to get themselves out, but perhaps this is what the off road experience is actually all about…

Wimbledon Will Never Be The Same…

by Rfun No Comments »

A news anchor in Russia was clearly thinking about something else while reading a story about the about the Wimbledon. When taking about the Grand Slam Title, which in Russian is called “Bolshoi Shlem”, (big helmet) she accidentally referred to it as a “Bolshoi Chlen”, which translates as a “big penis” in Russian…
