Soviet Union Military Parades…

by Rfun

Here are the Pictures and a video of different Soviet Union Parades. For the number of years now, the most you could see during the anual May 9th Victory parade were the fighter jets flying over the Red Square. Interestingly enough for this year’s Victory parade, sources in the Russian Ministry of defense say they plan to do a full military display with artillery pieces as well as intercontinental missiles (Lenta.ru), i guess we’ll have to wait and see…

One Response to “Soviet Union Military Parades…”

  1. Meije Says:

It appears that this upcoming Military parade will be worth watching this year. I also want to remind everyone that the Symbolic purpose of this parade was really to show respect to the workers that fabricated such a Military might through their labors…and now the meaning of the May Day parade should take on a more Universal meaning since it will be more and more celebrated by the Unions of Workers of The World!
