Yeah, you can put cigarettes out with gasoline.
Gas has a higher combusting point than a cigarette cherry.
Now lighting the cig near the can would be dangerous, but it’s really only if you’re at the spout where the air / fuel mixture is just right.
Thus why I smoke at gas stations.
A cigarette won’t ignite gas vapor, it’s simply not hot enough. I have filled up gas tanks thousands of times while holding lit cigarettes and nothing ever happened.
however, you want to be careful when _lighting_ a cigarette near a gas tank (using a lighter or matches close to gasoline: bad idea)
Yea, but that’s like saying since nuclear bombs have pressure switches, you can hit one with a hammer all you want and it won’t blow up. It might be true, but it’s still fucking stupid.
