What your looking at here is one of the infamous creations of the Ukrainian car manufacturer Zaporozhets. It was building the car you see below 968M (and its various modifications) from 1960 until 1994! Besides having the rear wheel drive, 968 also had its mighty 35hp engine and gearbox in the back. Known for its charismatic sound, and the entire genre of anecdotes about “Zaporozhets crashing into a Benz” this car is truly a legend in Russia as well as the Former Soviet Union.
